Winthrop Rotary Club-Chinese Auction
Funds raised will be used for college scholarships to benefint Winthrop High Students. Door tickets, $10 includes all the chinese food you can eat from Billy Tse's. Celebration of Marfan Life and History Fundraiser
At the Winthrop Elks, 191 Washington St, Winthrop from 7p-11p. Come out and enjoy good food, music and company while we celebrate the lives and achievements of those who have or are suspected of having Marfan Syndrome. We will have a auction and raffle featuring celebrity autographs. Enjoy music frome favorite Marfan artists such as Niccolo Paganini, Sergei Rachmaninoff and Compser/Playwright Johathan Larson. There may even be some artists performing music frome their CD's. Mingle with local celebrities liek Miss Tall Boston. Learn more about Marfan Syndrome and its history (Abraham Lincoln was suspected to have had it) A buffet dinner will help make for a great night. Tickets are $25 in advance/$30 at the door-April 15th deadline for advance tickets. Proceeds to benefit the Massachusetts Chapter of National Marfan Foundation to help raise awareness of the disorder.
